What can we say about Where the Ribbon Ends that isn’t already said by just looking at the gorgeous cakes hand crafted by Gayle and her team at Where the Ribbon Ends?
The stylish look and attention to detail are really what sets these cakes apart. No lumpy fondant, not a wonky layer in sight. Just pure perfection. And we absolutely adore the way that Gayle pays attention to all of the latest trends.
When we needed stunning, modern cakes for our editorial shoot, we knew Gayle was going to rock the navy blue icing like a superstar!
Based at the family run Jervaulx Abbey Tearooms, Carol, Gayle and Anna bake over 100 different flavours of cakes, tray bakes and pastries using local ingredients.
Gayle is self-taught (if you can believe it!) and is always working towards learning the newest techniques and creative skills. She puts everything she does into creating cakes that not only look beautiful, but taste absolutely AMAZING.
